by Seth on Mar.13, 2010, under Family & Friends, Misc.
Yes…Today is my 25th Birthday and though I am now 5 years away from being 30, I am excited to have successful lived another year on my own, as my sole provider. It has been one of the toughest years of my life. I have endured battles with both my professional and personal life but that’s just life I suppose. It goes with-out saying that I have much to be thankful for. I am truly blessed to have a job, great friends and a wonderful girly that believes in me and my goals! I have recently realized that Life is supposed to be hard, and lessons are meant to be learned as we spend our precious time on Earth; This is why we are here.
Thanks to all of my friends and viewers that have supported my blog and my effort to communicate my life through digital media. I hope you enjoy the evolution of my blog. As it continues to grow, I hope my viewership does as well…Spread da word! It brings my soul great warmth to know that my friends and family take time weekly to support my creativity. I love you all…God Bless! Here is to yet another year down and many great adventures in the next year. Stay tuned and buckle up; It is bound to be one hell-of-a-ride! Let’s get this party started! Over the weekend, I met a great dude by the name of Andrew Tower. When we met he was launching the Maiden voyage of a creative photo project that he created called the “Traveling Door”. The concept is fresh and creative….MY FAVORITE. Check out the video to learn more about this great artistic project. Good Luck Andrew and safe travels.

Farwell to the King…& Song of the Day!
by Seth on Jul.07, 2009, under MUSIC!!!!, Misc.
Now as many of my viewers know, I LOVE music and take great joy in posting Songs that move the soul and inspire creativity. It wasn’t until today that I stopped to realize that one of my ICONS will no longer exist on this planet. For most of us, Michael Jackson was a great Musician and Song Writer that took his Videos and Albums to limits only he would’ve imagined. By now I’m sure we are all worn out by the Drama and News circulating around the sudden death of “Pop Cultures” greatest gift, but I felt I must express how deeply sadden I am to witness this tragedy. To me, Michael was invincible and it seemed that he was larger than life. After hearing news of his death, I immediately started thinking about all the times that Michael touched me in my 24 years of life, and I lost track (Heck! I was “THRILLER Michael” for Halloween last year!). All I hope is that Michael Jackson will be remembered for the HOPE, LOVE and IMAGINATION that he spawned into our WORLD. NO ONE EVER LOVED AS MUCH AS HE. It was He who taught the children of my generation to love one another. It was He who taught me how to Dance! It was He who first sprang the thought of LOVE into my adolescent mind. It was He who opened my eyes to Charisma and Confidence, and I AM eternally grateful for the GIFTS that he gave so unwillingly to OUR WORLD. Say what you want to say but I will stand by Michael Jackson for the rest of my life on Earth and there after. I look forward to the day when I will be reunited with his presence and at that time, you better believe I will ask him for some DANCING LESSONS! May GOD BLESS Michael’s Children and the entire Jackson Family. Now it is my HONOR to play MY ALL TIME FAVORITE Michael Jackson Video…”Remember the Time”. This will be a Michael Jackson first on SethsWorld.net but certainly not the last.
One Year Aniversary with Big Brothers Big Sisters!
by Seth on Jun.26, 2009, under Family & Friends, Misc.
This week me and my little brother Jarriel, celebrated our One Year Anniversary as a match. I must say that this has been an amazing year for both of us. Spending time with this little man brightens up my days ,and he continually brings joy to my life. Over the last year I have watched him become more out spoken and courageous. He has really come a long way and I look forward to his progress in becoming a well rounded young man. As for me, a Big Brother has brought a whole new spectrum to my life and I encourage all to get involved in this program. There is a large population of children that are desperate for a friend to talk to and to dream with. The greatest gift as a Big has truly been the delight of helping my little achieve his dreams and dream bigger. ENCOURAGEMENT is key and I now understand first hand, the power of positive encouragement.
Freemans Natural Hotdogs A+
by Seth on Jun.19, 2009, under Food, Misc.
Yesterday I was driving back to my place and I noticed a new little eatery in Downtown Reno and had to stop by!, “Freemans Natural Hotdogs”. When I walked in I was greeted by a young dude named “Darnell” who was jammin’ on some “Lil Wayne & Yung Money”. I briefly scanned the menu and immediately settled on my choice, “The Ditrty South Dawg”. This Hot Dog included : All Natural Beef Dog, BBQ Sauce, Crumbled Bacon, Browned Onions and Fetta Cheese; All packed into a Onion Sesame Seed bun. Once I received my dog, I immediately took a huge bite and was satisfied completely with all the flavors totally owning my taste buds! Freeman’s was an awesome experience and I would recommend this eatery to anyone who wants to explore the amazing combination’s of the All-American Classic Hot Dog taken to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL! If you like Hot Dogs or want to try a “REAL” DOG..check it out…You will thank me later! For more details on the menu, please visit: www.fnhotdog.com
