Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful places on the West, Quincy, CA. My guide was good friend and Quincy native, Mike (a.k.a. Drunk Mike). Mike showed me his old stompin’ grounds and favorite fishing hole for Crawfish. We had a blast. Enjoy the video. Special thanks to Mike for a great tour of his native land!

Last weekend, I ventured to Palo Cedro, CA to spend the weekend with my “Outdoor Adventure” buddies Alden and Ryan. The weekend was filled with great food, beverages and of course…outdoor sporting. The fishing was a bit slower than we had hoped but we had a great time. The photo album should do a great job of telling our tale. Enjoy the photos!

Yes…Today is my 25th Birthday and though I am now 5 years away from being 30, I am excited to have successful lived another year on my own, as my sole provider. It has been one of the toughest years of my life. I have endured battles with both my professional and personal life but that’s just life I suppose. It goes with-out saying that I have much to be thankful for. I am truly blessed to have a job, great friends and a wonderful girly that believes in me and my goals! I have recently realized that Life is supposed to be hard, and lessons are meant to be learned as we spend our precious time on Earth; This is why we are here.

Thanks to all of my friends and viewers that have supported my blog and my effort to communicate my life through digital media. I hope you enjoy the evolution of my blog. As it continues to grow, I hope my viewership does as well…Spread da word! It brings my soul great warmth to know that my friends and family take time weekly to support my creativity. I love you all…God Bless! Here is to yet another year down and many great adventures in the next year. Stay tuned and buckle up; It is bound to be one hell-of-a-ride! Let’s get this party started! “THE EPIC” Father & Son fishing trip.

Last weekend, my father and I journeyed up to Washington to explore the Columbia River and chase the great Coho Salmon! We did not know what to expect because fishing season was nearing the end but the fishing gods were once again on our side and we scored some great catches. The Coho Salmon is a fun fish to hunt and exudes great athleticism and strength. If you ever have the chance to fish for the Coho Salmon, please don’t hesitate. Also, it was great to catch up with my father and share some quality time. As I get older the more I realize that I am a spitting image of my old man. The weekend was filled with great fishing, countless amounts of laughter and of course cocktails! This was the exact weekend I needed. Thanks Dad for the fishing trip…you ROCK! Next Year ALASKA!!!!!!

Also, special thanks to Dave Perez, our trusty fishing guide. I highly recommend Dave. He is very knowledgeable and patient with his fish tracking. He will MAKE SURE you catch your limit. Doin’ it BIG in Granite Bay!

Last weekend I once again journeyed to the beautiful Granite Bay, California to enjoy a Labor Day Weekend with my best friend K-Chafe filled with Vodka Tonics, Bloody Marys and WAKE BOARDING! Check out the pics. I think I am finally getting the hang of this Wake Boarding thing! YEAH BOY! Shout out to the wake board crew: Boat Captain Papa Joe, K-Chafe, G-Money, Fado-Franko and of course the beautiful and talented Angela! Ya’ll Rock. Adventures in Granite Bay!

Last weekend, I once again ventured out to Granite Bay, CA to visit one of my best friends, Kevin Chafey. Like any weekend in Granite Bay, the agenda was jam packed with Wake boarding and Vodka-Tonics but I decided to add something new to the typical Granite Bay adventure, FISHING! Kevin is not a fisherman and wasn’t too thrilled when I announced that we would be taking the boat out in the evening to chase some fishies, but as a good friend he “sacked up” and got excited for our expedition. A good portion of my Saturday morning was spent browsing the map of Lake Folsom plotting our course to victory. I researched fishing reports and local fishing blogs. After the morning review and analysis, my plan of action was complete. Mr. Joe Chafey (aka Papa Joe), continually made comments about my expectations of our trip. In fact he said ,”I would get your hopes up Seth…I wouldn’t expect to catch anything in Folsom but I hear some people do.” Well as you can imagine, that was all the motivation I needed to make sure we caught some fish. Anyways to make a long story short, We launched the boat, enjoyed a beautiful sunset and I got to witness by Best Friend slam TWO beautiful Channel Catfish. Mission was accomplished = Fishes Hooked + Fishes Landed…..SORRY PAPA JOE!..LOL. I had a blast fishing a new lake and silencing the critics but the most joy I received that evening was, witnessing the joy and excitement on Kevin Chafey’s face as he reeled in his first fish…It was awesome. I hope he enjoyed it as much as I did. We will do it again soon. FISH MASTERS!!!!!!! Below are some pics from the whole weekend for your enjoyment….ENJOY!

In the studio with OUTBOX records

Last weekend I was invited by Danny Florentini (Owner) to the Outbox Records Studio to lay down some DOPE DRUM BEATS for the debut album of “Tree Woodz”. I was a little nervous at first as I haven’t been in a studio environment in quite some time but after a couple of run-throughs & beers, I was right back to my old self. I had a great time and we actually recorded some really Dope Beats!!! It was great to be back in the studio and I can’t wait to hear the tracks after Danny put his magic touch on em’. Stay tuned and I will be sure to share the tracks once they complete the editing process. Word Up to the OUTBOX camp & Tree Woodz. This Album is gonna be an instant
