by Seth on Feb.18, 2010, under Misc., Travel
Over the weekend, I met a great dude by the name of Andrew Tower. When we met he was launching the Maiden voyage of a creative photo project that he created called the “Traveling Door”. The concept is fresh and creative….MY FAVORITE. Check out the video to learn more about this great artistic project. Good Luck Andrew and safe travels.

Cruzin' NorthStar-at-Tahoe on Presidents Day
by Seth on Feb.17, 2010, under Travel
It was a great day on the slopes at NorthStar on Presidents Day. The crowd was of-course horrific but despite the BAY AREA invasion, we managed to have a great day on the hill. I also got the chance to snag a vid of us cruising a nice scenic run. Enjoy the vid, be sure to watch the whole clip…it has a great ending!!! Peace.

Playlist of the Day – D'Angelo "Brown Sugar"
by Seth on Feb.11, 2010, under MUSIC!!!!
If you enjoy Jazz or R&B and are not familiar with D’Angelo, well…..you have a lot to learn. D’Angelo made his fam in the Mid 90’s. Since his debut album “Brown Sugar” he has been rather quite, only appearing on other hip hop artist albums (most recently Q-tip’s “The Renaissance”) . There has been a strong demand for D’Angelo to return to the studio and create another classic for the soul. Rumor has it, D’Angelo has been back in the studio for years but has yet to complete his album…he has been known to be a perfectionist. Enjoy Ya’ll….This kind of music heals the soul.
Artist Bio:
Michael Eugene Archer (born February 11, 1974), better known by his stage name D’Angelo, is an American R&B and neo soul singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer.
D’Angelo is known for his production and songwriting talents as much as for his vocal abilities, and often draws comparisons to his influencers, Marvin Gaye, and Prince. D’Angelo was one of the most influential artists during the rise of the neo-soul movement.
His first two studio albums, Brown Sugar and Voodoo, have garnered much commercial and critical acclaim, and have been cited as “two of the most excellent and singular R&B albums of the past 15 years” . Rock critic Robert Christgau has dubbed him as “R&B Jesus”.
Since the year 2000, D’Angelo has conducted no interviews, live performances or released any new material, save for minor collaborations with other artists, and sporadic unfinished demos leaked to the internet. A follow up album to Voodoo, has been rumoured and speculated since the mid-2000s (decade) but is still pending release or announcement. -wikipedia.org

This is the best commercial from this year’s Super Bowl, in my opinion of course. Enjoy.

True friends are hard to come by. Good beer and laughter is my remedy to a hard week at work.
